Ferreira completes his Sundowns move
Eduardo Ferreira finally completed his much publicised move to Sundowns after Ajax Cape Town released the player to join Sundowns
Initially Ferreira was to leave for Chloorkop in January but when the PSL successfully lobbied FIFA to move the January transfer period forward the Urban Warriors decided to release the player in line with the new transfer window period.
He will report to Sundowns on Monday (16 November, 2009) morning and we wish him well for his future playing career, said Shooz Mekuto the Ajax PRO.]
Eduardo arrived in South Africa unfamiliar to the local football fraternity and immediately made an impact on the local football scene with some stering displays in the RED and White of Ajax Cape Town.
During his short time at Ikamva his honours include; 2007 ABSA Cup Champions, 2007 Old Mutual Manguang Cup, Champion,
2008 Old Mutual Manguang Cup, Champion, 2007/8 ABSA Premiership (PSL) 2nd Place, 2008 Telkom Knock Out Champion.
His previous clubs include Fluminenze F.C., Guarani F.C., Corinthians F.C., Grêmio Esportivo Anápolis all in Brazil.
