Ajax/MTN Roadshow set for Philippi
This week the Ajax Cape Town/MTN Community Road Show will be activated in the Vuyiseka Sport Complex, Philippi on Saturday 07 November 2009.
The days activities will include the MTN Skills Zone where skills testing that includes dribbling the ball, juggling the ball and target shooting. On the entertainment front a DJ will keep the spectators on their toes with catchy tunes.
After each skills test a scoresheet is calculated to determine which prize each participant will win. Prizes on offer include an Ajax supporter’s replica shirt, MTN lunch bag and an Ajax draw-string bag amongst other prizes.
On the adjacent field a Philippi Select XI will play against Ajax Cape Town junior teams in their respective age groups.
Ajax Cape Town’s youth coaches and scouts will present a coaching clinic to a group of local players while their coaches will receive instruction as to the benefits of each coaching drill demonstrated.
A select group of Ajax Cape Town’s PSL players will be in attendance and they will be available to sign autographs and pose for photographs with their fans.
Over the past weeks the Ajax Cape Town/MTN Community Road travelled to Khayelitsha and Mfuleni where a great time was enjoyed by all and the one to be held in Philippi is expected to be no different.
