Ajax preparations in high-gear

Ajax Cape Town’s preparations ahead of the new season kicks into high-gear today as they are scheduled to play not one but two practise games at Ikamva on Friday afternoon.
The Urban Warriors are assessing a few players from their youth ranks as well as a number of players from South Africa and abroad.
Ajax fielded a few of their trialist during the MTN Football Invitational and they did not disappoint. Midfielder Keagan Dolly started the game against Manchester United, his performance attracted a lot of interest during the post-match press conference.
Also in the reckoning are Mosa Lebusa, Travis Graham and Taariq Filies, all products of the Ajax Cape Town Youth Development Academy.
The Ajax Cape Town coach Maarten Stekelenburg will also be watching the performance of Matthew Rusike and James Okwuousa, a striker and defender respectively.
A number of local clubs continue to build their squads until the transfer window closes and at Ajax Cape Town it’s no different as the Urban Warriors look to improve on last year’s performances in order to challenge for a top four finish.

Not a top four finish but championship. Ajax is too good to be comfortable with challenging for "top four" finish. All teams will start with 0points and 90 to play for, out of 30 matches. All the best Warriors....ahoooo!
