Ajax Community Scheme rolls on

The Community Scheme has now completed programs to 120 primary schools from all over the Western Cape, having direct contact to in excess of 5000 kids. 

Riyaad Khan, The Coordinator of the Ajax Community Scheme said, “Although this is quite an impressive statistic in itself, it is not only quantity but quality that we at Ajax Cape Town strive for. 

It is for this reason that we have decided not to increase the numbers of schools we attend but to rather re-visit the schools in our data base ensuring that the love and enthusiasm that we have built within each school is sustained. 

This does not mean that we will not get to those schools we have not yet visited; as the number of coaches working within our system continues to increase we will be able to increase the number of schools too.

We have just kicked off with our schools programs for 2010 and we are currently active in 27 schools through our Kick ‘n Learn and Urban Soccer programs. 

We will be busy at the schools for the next six weeks visiting them once a week for a one hour slot.
