We pick three head-to-head battles which could go a long way in deciding the Absa Premiership clash between Ajax Cape Town and Golden Arrows on Saturday afternoon.

Lerato Lamola v Rivaldo Coetzee

Lerato Lamola is set to lead the attack for Golden Arrows, with the 30-year-old forward looking to recapture the form which made him a household name with Bloemfontein Celtic. The man tasked with keeping him quiet is Ajax defender Rivaldo Coetzee, who has made a successful return from recent injury and is set to be a key figure for the Urban Warriors for the remainder of the season.

Kudakwashe Mahachi v Mark Mayambela

A tussle of two enigmatic but highly-talented attacking midfielders. Kudakwashe Mahachi has blown hot and cold for Arrows this season, but such is his talent that he should never be underestimated. The more experienced Mayambela is a more consistent performer for Ajax and will be looking to unlock the home side’s defence on Saturday afternoon.

Sibusiso Sibeko v Thabo Mosadi

Sibusiso Sibeko is a highly promising attacking midfielder or forward for Abafana Bes’thende and it is expected that he will make a big name for himself in the South African game. Ajax midfielder Thabo Mosadi will have his hands full trying to track the runs of Sibeko, but will know that keeping the 21-year-old under wraps could be decisive in this match.
