Ajax Cape Town have just one fixture lined up this week, as they head to the Limpopo province on Saturday for a clash with Polokwane City.

Following defeats to Bidvest Wits and rivals Cape Town City since the resumption of the Absa Premiership last week, the Urban Warriors will need to bounce back to form if they are to keep up their hopes of a top eight finish.

Coach Stanley Menzo and his players will hope to learn the hard-earned lessons given to them in their defeats to the Clever Boys and Citizens.

Rise and Shine will be no easy opponents: the Limpopo side may be winless in four matches, but as they showed by scoring a last-gasp equaliser in their 1-1 draw at Highlands Park yesterday, they have spirit and determination aplenty.

When Ajax and Polokwane met earlier in the season, they played to a 1-1 draw in Cape Town. Nathan Paulse opened the scoring for the Urban Warriors, but Rise and Shine struck through a penalty from Thobani Mncwango.
